Part 3 of a 3-part series on BCP, OEA, and your body’s natural path to metabolic health.

OEA boosts GLP-1 production — the same hormone targeted by many popular
weight-loss injections — but naturally and without side effects.
What Is OEA?

OEA (Oleoylethanolamide) is a naturally occurring lipid molecule that your body makes in the small intestine after eating healthy fats — particularly olive oil. It's also the other major ingredient in our BCP Metabolic Blend--explored in the two prior posts in this series. So what makes this molecule so special?
Once produced, OEA sends a powerful message to the brain: “You’re full.” It does this by activating a receptor called PPAR-alpha, which plays a major role in fat metabolism and energy regulation. Think of OEA as your internal appetite brake — and your fat-burning accelerator.
How OEA Works
• Signals satiety to the brain so you stop eating naturally.
• Reduces hunger and cravings, especially for sweets and fats.
• Promotes fat oxidation, meaning your body starts using stored fat for fuel.
• Improves energy expenditure without overstimulation or jitteriness.
In animal models, OEA consistently reduces food intake and body fat percentage. But what’s even more impressive is the human data. In a randomized trial of 60 overweight adults, those taking OEA saw significant reductions in:
• Weight and waist circumference
• Body fat percentage
• Hunger and cravings
• Desire to snack or emotionally eat
They also reported higher energy and satisfaction after meals.
Beyond Weight Loss: OEA and Metabolic Syndrome
OEA isn’t just about eating less. It also plays a vital role in broader metabolic health:
• It improves lipid profiles, reducing LDL and raising HDL.
• It enhances insulin sensitivity, supporting healthy blood sugar levels.
• It may reduce fatty liver progression by increasing mitochondrial activity and reducing inflammation in liver cells.
Why We Use Enteric-Coated OEA
Because OEA is naturally formed in the small intestine, we use enteric-coated capsules that delay release until they reach the gut. This protects the OEA from being degraded in the stomach and ensures you get the full benefit.
When paired with BCP, OEA enhances fat metabolism while BCP lowers inflammation and supports hormonal balance — a synergistic formula designed for total metabolic support.

OEA blend is encapsulated in an enteric-coated product to reduce gastric irritation and slowly release the ingredients.

Do the Drill-Down
If you’d like a deeper look into the clinical data, scientific pathways, and mechanisms of action behind OEA (and BCP), we’ve made our full research brief available as a free download.
That wraps up our 3-part series on these two fascinating biomolecules. Whether you're just beginning your metabolic health journey or looking for deeper solutions beyond diet and exercise, BCP and OEA may offer a powerful, natural path forward.
